"The emotions of Spring. Descend the main staircase at the Château de Fontpinot, the property belonging to Frapin since the 13th century.
Inhale the fragrances of the earth (tobacco, nutmeg, incense).
Become intoxicated with the warmth (vanilla, benzoin, cinnamon) and the fruits (grapefruit, orange blossom), under the first rays of sunshine.
As the vines become warm, Charente awakens. Wet grass (myrtle) smells sweet on a spring morning.
From the ancestral tradition of enriching the earth with recently cut vines, comes the fragrance Terre de Sarment. The vine shoots (sarments in French) are recycled, crushed and reintegrated."
