François Rancé created this fragrance within the strict guidelines of his pupil Napoleon Bonaparte as a dedication to Joséphine, the love of his life.

Since she was drawn to exotic rose oils only the finest May Rose was used in this joyful spring floral bouquet. François Rancé chose penetrating and lavish combination of fruits and exotic woods to create a fresh harmonious floral scent as elegant, sensuous, joyful and charming as Joséphine herself.

The curvature of the bottle are the living expression of femininity and sensuality and is adorned with the crest of Empress Joséphine as are the matching hand made, triple milled soaps.
